What’s new in this version?

To run ibaHD-Server v3.3.x the EUP date of 2024 01 25 or later is needed.

Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 is no longer supported.

New Features

ibaHD-Server can publish service status information and signal data for read access as an OPC UA nodes using the newly implemented OPC server interface. Without an additional license, ibaHD-Server provides status information about the current license and store activity similar to the information from the SNMP server. To read the values of analog and digital signals the additional license ibaHDServer-OPC-UA-Server+ is necessary. The OPC-Server has two different modes:

o OPC-UA: for reading individual signals

o OPC-UA-HDA: for reading historical data of individual signals

For detailed information please refer to the ‘New Feature’ document or the manual of ibaHD-Server v3.3.0. It is currently not possible to read data from HD events or HD time periods.

The certificate store can export the private key in ‘pem’ format. Many third-party OPC UA client applications require the ‘pem’ format to setup the communication to the OPC server.

Important Improvements

Reduction of the process time for the Time period store backup and restore function: the creation and restore of a backup has been optimized, thereby reducing the duration.

Reduction of the process time for the Import of dat files via ibaHD-Manager: the algorithm to calculate the aggregated values for level 1 during the import process has been optimized.

Automatic recovering of segment files with partly readable data. The ibaHD-Server service tries to recover segment files with a major corruption but still partially readable data. The original segment will be copied to the ‘UNKNOWN_DATA’ folder

No timeout messages during the import of large dat files.

Bugfixes

API-Read command ‘GetLastRecordedChannelValueRequest’ for string signals did not send the last value.

In rare occasions the time period database gets locked.
