What’s new in this version?

New Features

With this new version, the remote software update via the web client is not only possible for the ibaManagementStudio Agent, but also for the following products:

ibaCapture:
• ibaCapture Server
• ibaCapture Player
• ibaCapture Manager
• ibaCapture GigE Vision Encoder

ibaHD-Server

ibaPDA:
• ibaPDA client
• ibaPDA server
• ibaPDA ActiveX
• ibaPDA S7 Explorer Proxy

ibaVision

For the new update feature, the repository can store the installers of the different products. It is possible to add and delete different versions of installers.

If an update is available will be shown in the product view, on the ‘iba SW product information’ page of each system and in the system tree with blue indicators.

New Product View: a tab with iba software product information was added to the folder page. On this page, the software product can be selected and an overview of the installed versions on the individual systems is shown.

Pages with diagnostic data were added for the following products:
• ibaVision: v3.1.0 or higher.
• ibaPDA client: v8.4.0 or higher (if multiple instances of the ibaPDA client are running on the same system, only one instance will be able to connect to and communicate with ibaManagementStudio)

Important Improvements

ibaHD time period stores are shown (if configured) when selecting an ibaHD time store on the stores tab (requires ibaHD-Server v3.2.0 or higher).

The last update time is shown in case cached data is shown for a system.

The user can now select which products' support file should be downloaded from a system.
